Keeping track of externally sent emails in Zoho CMR

I'm trying to do the following scenario

1. There is a contact in Zoho CRM with email client@example.com
2. Send an email to client@example from Gmail (or any other email provider) 
3. [Do something here]
3. Come back to Zoho CRM and navigate to Contact client@example.com
4. I would like to see email sent in step 2 under Emails section in the client

Is this possible? I know some CMR's allow you to add a bcc email in step (3) that makes this possible. But if there are other solutions, that'd be great too.
