Last interaction date - what's the status of this feature?
These days, most people would agree that the core feature of any CRM or relationship management system is to keep track of when the last interaction happened to keep in touch with leads as they get ready to buy. It's an abundant feature in CRMs and I haven't found one without. If nothing else, you can sort your leads by last-email-date; starting with CRMs' free versions or even using chrome plugins for Gmail. That's, I guess, why I took it for granted before moving to Zoho.
I long thought I must be doing something wrong, but it appears that Zoho refuses to implement this core feature?
Looking at this post from a year ago:
"It seems like this is a known
weakness in Zoho's architecture. Formula fields are not "dynamic" during viewing/reporting - only creating/editing.
I did an extensive search through the forums and despite this issue first being raised back in 2009 - nothing appears to have been done, even though it was indicated plans were in the works.
Here are some examples of others with this precise issue:

Is there any possibility this is being looked at by Zoho developers?
If not, does anyone have a suggestion for a workaround to achieve this goal?"
This Zoho user tried to manually create the feature but apparently
even that is not possible.
People call this a "surprising issue". Is Zoho trying to sell cars without wheels here?
