Create and print Retail Invoices
In order to further simplify the billing/invoicing process in Zoho Books, we have introduced our Retail invoice feature through which the most necessary information pertaining to an invoice can be captured. This will help you record the most important fields with respect to a retail sale.
So, here's how you do it:
1. Click on
Sales->
Invoices.
2. Click on the arrow button next to
+New option and select
Create Retail Invoice".
3. Once in, you can create the invoice by giving the appropriate item details and contact details (if needed), and
Save it. You can also print it as and when you create it and give it to your customer.
Retail Invoice Templates
We've also introduced a template for retail invoices which would help users to create and print invoices in dimensions smaller than A4. Here's how you can select a retail invoice template:
1. Click on
Settings->
Templates.
2. Click on
+New Template.
4. Select the
Retail - Standard" templates, select an appropriate size (3" or 4") and
Save it.
Once done, you will be able to print out retail invoices in 3" or 4" sizes.
Barcode scanning feature
In order to facilitate faster and accurate addition of data, we have introduced the
Barcode scanning feature, where in users can now fetch the item details directly from the barcode.
Search for contacts based on their GST information
We have made enhancements to our advanced search field in the contacts module, by which users can now search for their contacts based on:
- GST Treatment
- GST Identification Number, and
- Place of Supply
This will help users to zero-in on the contacts much easier.
Find the HSN/SAC code for your products
With the new GST format of invoices, it is mandatory to add HSN/SAC code in your invoices. With our new
HSN/SAC finder, users can search for their product/service and select the appropriate code. Users can now identify their HSN/SAC codes without much hassle.
