Lead Status Default Status

Lead Status Default Status

Hi, I am wondering the Lead Status by default was always "New Not Contacted", but how come lately it has been changed to "Burnt", this is so troublesome, it made all the leads I entered yesterday as BURNT because all the while I never do changes as by default, it is "New Not Contacted", how can we change it back? Thanks.
