LEADS MODULE: Handling Leads with Chains

How do you input leads that are part of Chains so that you can group them under the overall Chain?  It's easy to do under ACCOUNTS, but what about LEADS?

For example:  I have leads for 15 convenience stores in a state and it turns out that 6 are owned by the same parent company.

I want to enter all the leads so I can track activities with each location as well as the home office.

Ideally, this would create ACCOUNT - SUBACCOUNTS when the lead moves from LEADS to ACCOUNTS so we don't have to reconnect the various sites and the home office.

Any thoughts/knowledge?
