Leads Status

I made an auto task to be generated when changing the stage of a Potential. The Task should be generated one time only. I found that when ever I edit the Potential the task is generated which should not be like that. The task should be generated only if the stage is changed. This makes a lot of confusion to my team.

Please solve this problem.
