Dear Zoho Books team,
we've discovered so many limitations with packages/shippings and sales returns.
Particularly, there is only one template available and only a limited set of personalization is possible.
Truly limited if we compare it with the ones available for invoices.
For example, it's not possible to have the price column displayed nor to change the character dimension of some text to align it with the ones of the invoices.
The editing tools are truly primitive but what we do not understand is the lack of alignment with the ones of the invoices.
Couldn't you simply copy and paste/adapt the code of that one of the invoices into the other?
Sales return also completely lack of any options in setting and therefore it is not possibile, for example, to create custom fields.
As no document could be created there are also no templates nor export to PDF or print options.
How is a client supposed to be informed of a RMA if we can't send any document?
Waybill support (i.e. the one available for Indian Edition) would solve the issue but the Global Edition is totally lacking of this feature too.
We regret to see that so much time and effort is invested in making wonderful UIs for other products that already look gorgeous and so little effort is put into so basic functionality in Zoho Books.
We hope for a major revisitation of the program in 2022 as we believe it to currently be the least well made of the entire suite.
