Link Leads to matching Account records
My organization has a complex sales process that almost always involves outreach to multiple Contacts within an Account. Our sales cycle is also long and often new Leads are generated from Accounts that our sales team is actively engaged with (Leads in our world are not always new people, they sometimes represent a new action/interest from existing contacts). In zCRM Lead records, the 'Company' field already searches the Account database for matches (very handy for us as it helps keep our Account database clean by prompting merge to existing Account records upon Lead Conversion), how about going the extra step and, when a match is detected, the Company Name becomes a hyperlink to the Account record. In the spirit of a 'relational database' the Account records could even show a Related List of 'Leads' (ability to filter out 'Not Qualified's) so anyone working the Account can see new people that they could be reaching out to and/or should be aware of. It would also prompt them to review the Account record when they see that it already exists so they can see what noteworthy interactions have occurred before reaching out to the Lead.
