Links as Attachments

Many of the documents we want to link to an Account, Contact, Potential, Case, Solution etc. ..., are online documents. These are in Zoho, and in other services. Instead of having to upload these documents, would it be possible to link to them instead? I have forced a link by copying a url from ZWriter to the browse field. The option exists in other Zoho services, for example when placing an image in ZWriter you have the option of browsing your machine or entering a url. This would be very helpful, save a ton of time, and ultimately money on duplicated storage.

Also, being able to rename an object as it is being attached, or after, would help. Users could then identify the document without the address gobbledygook and confusion of the address that displays using the forced method above.

Any suggestions or ideas?
