List the multi-select options that are selected, instead of side by side.

In creating quote & invoice templates i've included fields that display the options that customers wants a price for.  These options are selected from a multi-select field.
At the moment the view of the items selected is showing them all side-by-side but I want to be able to list them one on top of the other.  Is this possible and if not then can it be possible in a future update?

for example

instead of showing:


face painter;balloonist;henna;

I'd like it to show as:
face painter;
balloonist;
henna;
