Localized filter and sort
It's often helpful for a user to re-sort a view or even to more precisely filter it. However, if a user does that, the change affects all users, which is unacceptable. It would be great if there were a 'master' definition of a view that included sort and filter, but that users could change those specs on a local basis, without affecting other users. There would be a 'reset' function that would allow users to 'undo' their changes and revert to the master.
Editing the master view definition would be limited to the owner or any delegate of the owner.
(I recognize that a user can make a copy of the view and redefine that copy, but that's a clunky workaround.)
