Log a call issue

I have two issue with the log a call feature.

1:My Super Admin created the CRM in french. Now, most of our user speak english so I translated most of the pick list and option. In "Log a call" it is impossible for me to do anything with the call type. Right now the pick list says "Entrant" and "Sortant". I can't removed or translate it and it is annoying. Is it possible to change this?

2:Is there a way to user email reminder with the log a call function. Its there for the task but not for the call and it would be way better for us to use it this way because lot of our employee are on the road.
