I have noticed a little bug with logging calls in Zoho CRM. If you would like to log a incoming or outgoing call in the CRM you click the "Log a call" button, however this redirects you to the activities page which is fine to record the call. However what if someone answers and you would like to use the "current call timer" and complete some information from customer in the lead / account / customer / potential?
I think the best solution would be to have the "log a call" button bring the info up in a new pop up window similar to the "send mail" button, then we could log calls and times on calls more accurately while still completing any more info you need from the customer. I have seen some screen shots of the new "phone bridge" option and believe it to be acting it this way?
I have spoken with Zoho team and they say this isn't a browser problem and that it was designed this way, so there is way to force the browser to open this in a new window.
Please post if you would like to see this changed as it would make the feature use able and recording calls must accurate.
