Logging an activity without sending a e-mail

I'm taking a look at Zoho. If i log an activity and add contacts to it Zoho will send all the contact a e-mail. Zoho ask me if i want to send an e-mail Even when i hit the No button Zoho is bordering my clients. What I’m I doing wrong? In 99% of the cases I don’t want to send an e-mail to my clients but simply want to log an activity. A report of a meeting or a call. I want to add the people who are involved to the case. So I can see who were presented at a meeting. But I don’t want to send them an e-mail. I don’t want my client to know that I’m using a CRM to manage them…
