Please help me find a way to effectively using Zoho while talking to a customer on the phone
When a customer calls me (dont have pbx system) I want to open this contacts name in Zoho, see what activities there were with him or one of his collegues and what the status of these activities is. I also want to read comments about his company (account).
In the meantime I want to be able to log important things he tells me in the phonecall, so I need a big text screen.
I think this is a very common situation for everyone that uses a CRM system, but it is hard to get something like this in Zoho CRM.
Instead what happens in Zoho:
- I open a "contact"
- Click "add a new call"
- I get a small window without a "description" field, which is only available behind a "more fields" button
- The window disappear if I click anywhere else on the page
- I can not edit or correct the account's data when I am filling the "call" screen at the same time.
- I don't see anything about any other contact of the same account
- I don't see information about the account
- Every line of text takes up so much space that I keep on scrolling on my big 1920*1200 screen
The result is that during a call I log information with a pen on paper and afterwards in Zoho. This seams like a wast of time.
How do other Zoho CRM users do this?
