I'm testing Zoho CRM and have come across an issue I can't find any information about. If I open a contact: under the contact information their email address is listed. If I click on the email address at this location it opens my Outlook to send an email. That part is great but it does not log this as a sent email.
If I scroll further down the contact information to the "Emails" area, there is a link that shows "send mail" If I click on this it opens a window within ZOHO for sending the email. When an email is sent from this area it is correctly logged on ZOHO as a sent email.
Why would the same basic function in 2 different locations work differently?
This appears to me to be a serious flaw in the system. Can anyone help me understand this?
