I created a lookup field for Account Number on the potentials form that isn't working.
When I select Account Name it gives me the list of account names from which I select the one I want. When I select Contact Name, it shows me only the contacts for that selected account name. So far, so good.
When I select Account Number from my created look up it shows me the account name list again, I see the account number, which is not selectable. Only the account name is, and when I click on the name, it inserts the name, not the number.
The way I set up this field in Potentials is:
The related list label in the Accounts "database" is Account Number.
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong but others within my company have tried it, too, with no avail.
