Lookup value from External Source (Such as Google Sheets)
I'm looking for Excel's equivalent of VLOOKUP for ZohoCRM using an external source. Something such as Google Sheets to store the lookup data.
We would use the "Deal Name" in ZohoCRM to search this data in column A of a table. If there's a match, return the result from Column B back to the "Date" field in ZohoCRM Deals module.. This would essentially allow us to update ZohoCRM deal records with dates of events located on this external source of data. We need to run this lookup on all our deals once daily.
What's the best way to accomplish this? Would this be a webhook or something else? I'm not a programmer so I don't even know which type of specialist I should contact to help me with it. There are some Google Sheets integration options out there but they don't do well with mass updating and repopulating information in ZohoCRM very well. Manually exporting and importing the data is what we currently do and we want to eliminate that.
Does anything that can help do this for us already exist? If not, what kind of professional do I need to find to accomplish this simple action?
