Loosing Tasks, meetings and calls when converting lead to contact

I have a lead funnel that it attached to a blueprint that has tasks associated with it, plus we use calls to log calls to the prospect.
I have just started to convert the leads to contacts and noticed that I've lost the tasks, and calls.

Do i have to map these in the conversion?

Is there a work around?
