Lose lead source when converting lead to account

Lose lead source when converting lead to account

When I convert a lead to an account, the lead source information does not appear in the account information that I can find. How can this be carried over so it can be tracked? Is there a way to run an all-encompassing report that will tell me the lead source of the information regardless if the item is a lead, account, potential, closed won, closed lost, etc.?
