Mail formatting task bar missing

Mail formatting task bar missing

The formatting bar (B, I, U, abc, X2, X2 A, Bullets, Numbering, hyperlink etc etc has vanished. I'm unable to make any changes to the format of an e-mail. Where did it go? I recently installed AdBlock Plus and thought perhaps it was messing with the JavaScripting so I disabled it, then uninstalled it completely but I still don't have the formatting bar.

System is Win7, Home Premium which is stable in itself but Firefox 3.6.14 (my preferred browser) and IE8 both have issues under the Win7 OS. Same issue comes and goes in CRM. Drive was recently scanned and defragged, Drivers are up to date, Anti Malware, SpyDoc and CCleaner have all recently been run. It was after I installed the AdBlock Plus addon for Firefox that I've been having the problem.
