Mail forwarding issues

Help! Mail forwarding is not working on my account; 2nd time in the last month or so. your forums indicate that a recent upgrade is to blame and that we need to whitelist some IP addresses. I am forwarding to a hotmail account and cannot whitelist an IP. Please let me know when this can be done. Or if there is another fix.
