Mail Outgoing blocked. Reason :Daily Recipient count exceeds limit [Total Recipients=2,000]

I attempted to send a mass marketing e-mail to 695 recipients yesterday. This does not exceed 2,000? Why has the account been blocked from sending outgoing mail? This is adversely affecting my business because I cannot communicate with my clients.
