Mail POP3 not delete from mail server as config + not update status after reading from MS Outlook

Dear Guru,

1. Problem 1:
I'm using POP3 for Zoho Mail to download email to MS Outlook.
In MS Outlook setting: I choose "Leave a copy of messages on the server", "Remove from server after 3 days".
But when I go to web mail, I see that old emails were not deleted. So my mail storage is large, it's not automatic deleted as requirement.

2. Problem 2:
After I read email in MS Outlook --> Mail server does not update status (unread -> read).
