Clean Mailchimp Integration overwrote DATA !! Deleted First Name, Replaced Last Name and Source
I am about to cry!!!
We just installed the OFFICIAL Zoho Mailchimp Integration, We even used a NEW Mailchimp Account as to avoid conflicts with our current Mailchimp Database, and started from a blank slate.
We ran a MailChimp Sync from within Zoho CRM, notice that the ONLY mapped fields available are Email and First Name, so, you can´t even select any other fields...but it decided by itself to UPDATE the Lead Source Field of all those Leads into the text "Mailchimp" as the Source !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We didn't even had that option in our source Field. So now we lost that info for all those Leads, fortunately, this crappy Integration was only able to sync 745 Leads instead of all of them.
Nowhere does it says it will do this, and especially since these were Leads already in Zoho, that were sent into Mailchimp!!! There were no Leads in Mailchimp, so why would it update like that ?! it makes no sense!
Is there any way to revert this back ??? our last backup was more than a week ago, and we would loose a lot of important info If I reverted back to that backup.
UPDATE:
I emailed support and their only response was that there was nothing they could do to recover my data or revert the changes made, and that maybe in the future they will have a revert function.
ALSO, to makes things worse, this Mailchimp Integration also REPLACED our customers FULL NAMES with the beginning of their EMAIL address , so for example if my customer name was "John Smith" and his email was "
john_smith_2017@hotmail.com"... His FIRST NAME is now
blank and his LAST NAME is now "john_smith_2017
" instead of "John Smith". So it Deletes the First Names and Replaces their Last Names. WTH !!!
