Make and receive calls from Bigin's Android app - Bigin | Mobile
Hello everyone!
We're happy to announce that Bigin's Android app (version 2.0.0) now supports built-in telephony, RingCentral, and Zoho Voice, all of which enable users to make and receive calls from the Bigin app.
You can only configure the telephony integration through the Bigin desktop site. Learn more about Telephony in Bigin.
Once the integration is completed, users can choose built-in telephony, RingCentral, or Zoho Voice to initiate the calls from the Bigin app. They can select their preference in the Settings module > Calls > Call Preferences.
Users can make a call by tapping one of the following:
- The call icon in the contact tile in the contacts' list view
- The call icon in the contact details page
- The phone number in the contact details page
Built-in telephony
While using Bigin's built-in telephony, users can make calls using the built-in keypad and receive calls directly from the Bigin app, eliminating the need to move to the phone dialer or any other third-party apps.
Users can do the following from the call screen:
- See the open deals associated with the contact.
- Add follow-up activities like tasks, events, and upcoming calls, as well as notes after the call ends.
- Add a contact from the call screen if the dialed number is not an existing contact in their Bigin organization.
RingCentral and Zoho Voice integration
When integrated with RingCentral or Zoho Voice, the Bigin app will redirect users to the respective app when the call is made. The selected platform will fully manage the call.
