Let say that you are sitting with your sales team and you go through your potentials...It's very frustating now if you want to enter new "Next Step" or close or create new task. Many clicks needed....
- Open form,
- Do the change,
- Save,
- Reload view/report to show updated information,
- Scroll to the original row...
Impossible if 10 people are waiting...
Please, please, AJAX is here many years. What about to edit single attributes in Views/Reports?
All team watch the list of potentials projected to the wall. We agree that next step for Account X is "Call CEO till Nov21". So:
- I click at "Next Step" cell in the View,
- Editable field with Save and Cancel links appears directly in the View/Report,
- I change the text and click Save
- and focus to Account B...
Many seconds saved!!!! Another CRM adoption barrier dismissed!!!!
P.S. And please, add possibility of ordering by several attributes for Views. Usability of Views is very limited without it, especially in the case above (potentials must be ordered by potential stage AND account name at least).
