I have 5 questions that I ask people to rate a place (1-5) on and there is a date stamp.

I would like in a table for the 5 variable names to be listed down the left hand side and the date across the top and the average for the questions in the cells. 

However when I place the 5 different variables in the rows, the 5 items are all in the same row side by side instead of under each other. 

How can I make a table so that the data is organized as follows:

location                           avg#              avg # 

friendliness

knowledge

appearance

price

instead of like this:

                                      2010                                                     2011        

location,friendliness,knowledge,appearance,price | location,friendliness,knowledge,appearance,price
