I currently forward a number of emails (work, school, etc) to zoho. I then filter these emails into different folders based on the To/Cc address. Here are a few suggestions that might make this process smoother.
1. Allow filtering based on Bcc/other header fields (such as X-Original-To) so these emails can be filed appropriately. Right now, these emails just go to my generic inbox and I file them manually. Also, the "tweak" option on your advanced mail search is FANTASTIC, and I would love to be able to manually edit/write filters as I can do for search criteria. In summary, more fields, more customization :)
2. When using various Send Mail As addresses, when replying, it chooses the best address based on the To/Cc - great!. Please have it do this for forwarding as well. I often forward emails sent to
me@work.com and forget to change the From address so everyone sees
me@zoho.com :(
3. One idea that fastmail implemented was to have a "Send mail as" address associated with each folder. So when replying, forwarding, etc to any mail in a folder, it would automatically set the From to the address associated with that folder. A great option to help prevent sending emails from the wrong address.
4. I know I could avoid much of these issues by setting up multiple "accounts" to be fetched by pop3. This would be a perfect solution except pop3 accounts don't sync with mobile, which is while I don't use it. If POP3 accounts could be synced, it would be AMAZING.
