I think I might have made a big error. 

 

We are a small start up that is initially approaching very small retailers to carry our products.  I assumed that they started off as 'leads' that then got converted to 'accounts' once they agreed to carry our products.

An issue that I have is that we don't remember every single person that we interact with.  We work, in our work flow, with stores.  Right now, by using Leads, Activities are centered around Last Name.  Once I get a store owners name, seeing "Follow up" with Jane Smith means nothing.  It means nothing in any of the views (displaying First Name Last Name).  I want it to read "Follow up" with "ABC Grocery" instead.

 

It seems like Accounts is the way to accomplish this.   Is this right?

 

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
