Managing Leads & Deals when selling both Direct and Indirect

Hi there,

In our business, we deal directly with Customers, however sometimes the transactions are direct, and other times they are via Partners who on-sell our service to the Customer.

Should we create all our Leads and Deals based on the Customer for consistency?
If so, how do you capture the details that there was a Partner involved in the Deal

On a 2nd note, if we are engaging with 3 or 4 people from the same company, do we just limit it to one person as a Lead?
When do we add the other contacts to the Account?
