Managing profiles gets easier with these enhancements!
The Profile Permissions page in Zoho CRM has been redesigned to give you a hassle free experience in managing user profiles. A major improvement is that the page is organized better by grouping permissions according to the order of modules and Setup categories in CRM. This enables you to find that specific permission you want easily.
Besides better grouping, the enhancements include an instant auto-save feature as well as dependency in permissions. This post will give you an overview of the major improvements that have been made in the Profile Permissions page.
Users can't exceed their permissions
Dependencies have been introduced in the profile permissions page. This means that the dependent permissions get automatically enabled / disabled based on the changes made to its basic permission. For example, a user without create leads permission cannot import leads.
Enable permissions for specific modules
You can now enable the following permissions just for the modules you need, rather than having to enable them for all modules at once.
Forget about selecting and unselecting each and every permission. In the improved profile permissions page, you can make changes to a group of permissions with just a single click.
You can also enable/disable setup permissions in a single go, making it easier for you to create profiles that don't need these permissions. This saves you from spending a lot of time on enabling/disabling each and every permission.
Find permissions easily and view the associated users
Module permissions are grouped according to the way you have organized modules in your CRM and the Setup permissions follow the order of the Setup page. You can also get to that specific permission you want to change much faster, with the navigation panel on the left.
You can now view users right on the Profile details page by clicking on the View Users button on the top right corner of the page.
No more Tab group permissions in the page!
The Tab Group permissions have been removed from the Profile Permissions page. These settings are now present only under the Customization page.

- Send email
- Delete email
- Print view
