Managing, rearranging & deleting sub sections in the knowledge base deletes my articles

I was rearranging my knowledge base yesterday and i didnt new that Categories stands for departments. So i tried ordering all better to make more sense. When i delete some sub-sections i lost a couple articles which were in a sub-section of that.

Is this a know issue?

I lost quite some time due to this because the text editor is horrible to work with
