Managing SaaS clients accounts with lended products

Hello everyone,

I new to zoho CRM and i´m trying to retire my spreeshets :D , hope someone can help me to clear out the best way possible do manage everything.

Here´s my business model:

We lend a tracking hardware which will send data from mobile assets (like truck fleet, machinery and etc)  for our software which our client uses, so they can manage their logistics. 

We charge client as SaaS, with 2 years contract.


So we have 2 types of inventories here:
- Tracking hardware (bought from a manufacturer)
- Cellphone carriers GSM/GPRS m2m chips 

Once a new client sign a contract, we put one GSM/GPRS chip to a hardware and ship to client location, so it can be installed into vehicles.  

So, i want to be able to manage which GSM/GPRS chip is allocated in which hardware and in which vehicle and what client .


Today we have 4 spreadsheet:
- Client Info (very like accounts module)
- Hardware inventory (very like products module)
- Chip Inventory (very like products module)
- Vehicle/mobile asset (custom module)

My first tough was building a custom module linking all information from other modules. is that possible? is this the best way to solve this?
