Mandatory Last Name ?!

I'm looking to use Zoho CRM for sales management at a new magazine in Austin, TX. However, I cannot import hundreds and hundreds of my leads because we do not have names for the decision makers yet.

For our current accounts, sure, no problem. I can do that. Great.

But, to make this software a sensible choice for us, and thus to pay for more and more users, we'll really need the mandatory last name issue resolved ASAP.
