Hi,

We have 5 different shifts for employees:

Shift1. 7pm- 02:30 am

Shift2. 02:30 am - 9am

Shift3. 9am-5pm

Shift4.5pm-01:00am

Shift5. 1am- 9am

And these are the hourly rate rules:

Day shift - 1 hourly rate:

07am-9am

09 pm-5pm

5 pm- 11 pm

Night shift - different hourly rate:

11 pm-01am

01am-07 am

02:30am-07 am

The rate per hour is different in day shift and night shift, and as you can see, one shift starts with hours from the day shift and extends into the hours from the night shift. For example, the shift from 7pm- 2:30am would be paid as follows: 7pm-11pm the rate per hour defined for the day shift (those are 4 hours) and from 11 pm-2:30 am the rate per hour from the night shift (those are 3h 30 mins).

Is this possible and how can it be done?
