Mapping Fields

In my leads fields I have "Lead Source". When converting my lead into a contact I'm trying to get the lead source information to be transferred to the account, contact or job upon conversion.

I have this set up with multiple fields and they all work. However, the Lead Source  pick list has different values in Leads & Contacts in the list of fields. So when I convert, it doesn't populate the lead source because they appear to be different lists.

I also don't use the accounts module because the way I have it setup is Leads to Contacts because the account module doesn't have what I want in it.

What am I doing wrong?
