I engage with prospects in multiple ways. Some of these might include sending promotional items or sending a birthday card or any number of things. There are more sales activities than just calls, meetings, or emails. There needs to be a way to create custom activities that I can log. This has been requested for years and the only reason it has not been implemented is because the developers are just developers and have never done sales. Again, in sales, we do things other than emails, calls and meetings. How do we track these sales activities?
