Mass update or delete empty company name

Mass update or delete empty company name

I have a number of contacts where company name field is empty. I need to mass update these to 'Unknown' or even mass delete and re-import them with name 'Unknown' but when I search for mass update or mass delete with Company Name is empty, I get 'No companies found'.

Is this a bug? Is there a workaround?
