Mass update with value from other field

Mass update with value from other field

I have a field called 'Greeting' where I want to put first name as default, but cannot find a way of doing this with mass update. Is it possible to somehow intorduce a formulae to Greeting field which says: If 'Greeting' is empty put in the value found in the 'First Name' field.
