I have an odd problem that is a time consuming annoyance but am sure there will be a simple solution.

I use MS Office 2016 with Word 2016 on an MS SurfacePro 4 running Windows 10.1

The Plug In for Office and Outlook is installed. The process is as follows:

Open Word

Got to Add-Ins

Select Zoho CRM, then Merge Template

First problem is it tries to open into 'Leads', but I want it to open into 'Contacts'. Would be nice to open into 'Contacts'

Change to 'Contacts'

Select Template, click Next

Type name of contact and select search icon. Note return doesn't carry out the search, but it would be great if it did.

Click arrow to move contact into 'Selected Records'

Click 'Merge'

What happens now is three Word Documents open

1. The template I want, but with all fields not completed showing such as: «Contacts_Salutation» etc

2. A document that states: 'A field calculation error occurred in record 1'

3. The document with all fields correctly completed with contact details

I then have to shut the first two documents down before I can proceed.

Any idea what is happening and how to sort these issues?
