Microsoft Web Outlook.com
Outlook.com does not connect with zoho.com pop server. If you create a outloo.com email account and then add a send and receive account to the email account options, outlook.com says there is a problem and also states "This account cannot currently receive email. Click
Details for more info." on details, "We couldn't get your messages: There was a problem connecting to the other server. If you've been seeing this message for a while, consider checking your account settings or contacting your other email service."
The problem is that Outlook.com refuses to receive emails from zoho.com pop server. I bypass this problem by forwarding all my email from zoho to my outlook account (which creates other problems, like forwarding spam from zoho to outlook.com thus causing email blocks on zoho)
If you use the exact same settings in the Outlook application everything works fine.
If you do not understand, simply sign up for a Microsoft outlook.com account and then add your zoho account as a email account in the outlook.com options. It is very simple to demonstrate this problem.
Outlook.com checks my pop/smtp email account at Bluehost and Hostgator with no problem, thus it is only zoho that outlook.com/microsoft has a problem with.
The problem is that Microsoft Outlook.com does not trust or like zoho pop/smtp mail servers. It is clearly a Outlook.com/microsoft issue but requires someone from Zoho to call microsoft.
Could someone at Zoho call Microsoft and work it out for the benefit of all the Zoho customers.
