Migration from Godaddy to Zoho Email

Hi we currently have our email hosted by Godaddy and are thinking about moving to Zoho Email.

Can someone help with me understanding how this would work?

Reading the documentation it seems that you have to verify the domain with Zoho at the beginning of the set up - but if I change the DNS records etc to Zoho before migration, then I don't understand how I will be able to migrate the current email accounts by IMAP to Zoho?

I don't want to lose emails from any of our existing email accounts - so can someone explain to me the steps required to move a domain and email accounts from Godaddy to Zoho in a simple way please?
