Missing email(s)

Dear Zoho,
end of last week I received an email from one of my builders with a quote (doc file) attached. I responded straight away but wanted to look at the quote today. Unfortunately, I can't find the email anywhere, nor can I find my response in the Sent folder (or the trash). Any idea what is going on there?
