mobile question - Can't get email on Samsung Galaxy S phone
My Zoho mail account is currently set to IMAP protocol. I have no problems with it on my home Mac book using apple mail, and I have no trouble on my desktop PC at work logging in via the zoho website.
On the phone when I open the email app then add account feature on the phone it asks for my email address, username, and password. When I enter these, the phone attempts to connect - but I get an error message back that says either my email address, username, password, or settings are incorrect. (301) I have tried this several times and received the same error. I am sure my email, username, and password are correct.
I have not actually tried it, but when I activated the phone they also set up a gmail account - that account appears to work. I Just have no need for multiple email accounts to deal with. I would prefer to use the zoho account and can the gmail if possible.
The phone does not seem to offer the ability to set ports.
Advise or suggestions?
