More ability to manage account from the homepage/dashboard

I use the homepage a lot to have a single place to look at recent and upcoming activities and keep an eye on top prospects. It would be nice to also directly manage activities from this page, for instance by closing tasks that have been completed. Currently if I want to close a set of tasks from the homepage I have to individually select each one, go to another page, close the task, save, and then manually go back to the homepage. It takes longer than it should, and makes the process feel cumbersome (even if it only adds a little bit of time)

I know I can batch close by going to the activities tab, and this works a little bit better...But even here I think it would be much nicer to simply select the activities checkbox, and then have a button to close activity in the same way you have one to delete.
