On my database I have a feature that sends a SMS message to a client. It sends the message I type into the multi line text box.

The problem that I have is that I am limited to 495 characters.

Is there a way of limiting the text box to 495 characters

if not is there a way of having a counter that counts down every time I enter a letter.
