Multi-Month Profit And Loss - Remove Rows with Zero Balances

I have created a customized P&L Report with the following Critieria:
  1. Date Range: This Month (can be what ever month you want to start with)
  2. Compare Based on Period / Year
    1. Compare With: Previous Periods, Number of Periods: 6 (Can be changed to however many months you wish to report on).
This produces a report with multiple columns, providing data for x number of months.
The issue is that in the customization there is no option for excluding zero balance accounts. Now I understand that the processing would need to take into account the balances for each month, across the row. The report is cluttered with many rows with zero balances. Other P&L reports have an option to filter accounts with zero balances, but my custom report does not have this option.  Please provide the same filtering of accounts with zero balances on this type of report also.
