My phone number fields are not consistent
Zoho migrated about 360,000 accounts/contacts for me that came from Salesforce. Now I am trying to "over ride" the Zoho records to add a new custom field. My only method to find duplicates is on phone number (don't have emails and too many accounts have same name). Since some of my phone numbers in Zoho are formatted as a phone number, others as a number (Zoho said this is how it should be done), and some are formatted with hyphens. When I am matching, I am creating duplicates because Zoho doesn't ignore special characters and doesn't recognize the existing phone match.
Does any one know any easy way to overcome this?
