MySQL will not start, JBoss (possibly) will not start

You made an absolutely great program. I had no problem installing it on Windows server, but on SuSe 9.3 (which is the most important for me) it won't start. First, I got the message that MySQL cannot start. I tried with shutting down the existing MySQL server, but with no success. Then I tried to attach it to the existing server by following your instructions, given here. Program displayed the expiration warning, waited for some time and exited without any message. What could be done to fix this? When connecting it to an existing MySQL server do I have to modify existing installation in any way, assign some passwords, create tables or similar? Does my Apache server or FOP have anything to do with VA?
